Customer-oriented Product Manager who can create synergy between development and business

In the Product Management department, we develop production technology for the wind turbine industry (e.g., Carbon Chamfering Systems, ENABL Mobile Robots etc.). As a Technical Product Manager, you will function as a specialist and be the link between development and the market.

This requires insight into our customers and an understanding of their reality and needs. With this knowledge, you must work towards value-based development and ensure solutions in the markets of ENABL. In addition, you will be responsible for the portfolio management of selected products - new as well as old – as well as the maintenance of the products throughout their life cycle.

Your responsibilities and tasks
As Product Manager, your tasks will be:

Definition and management of the global product portfolio for the industry, incl. scope, performance, price, standardization and development / life cycle roadmap
Development of the business plans with respect to the product (Sales, GM targets) in collaboration with the Head of Product Management, Regional Sales, Service, and Engineering
Market Intelligence incl. market trends, customer requirements, competitor analysis, price and performance analysis
Development of the USP’s (unique selling points) and value proposition for each product or product group
New product introduction strategy and material in cooperation with Marketing
Product training and support internally and externally

Your profile:
We imagine that you are a trained mechanical engineer or have similar experience thanks to which you have mechanical and electrical understanding. You have a minimum of 5 years of work experience.

In addition, we would like that:

  • You have experience within product management
  • You have preferably experience in working with production technology for wind turbine components (e.g., Carbon Chamfering Systems, ENABL Mobile Robots etc.).  
  • You have experience working with technical solutions
  • You are experienced at dealing with customers and manage to familiarize yourself with their reality and needs
  • You have a sound commercial understanding and are market oriented with flair for seeing new opportunities within the business area
  • You have experience working with international engineering teams
  • You communicate well in both Danish and English, in writing as well as orally

  • You are a strong communicator who can communicate with various target groups
  • You are a motivating person who knows how to make an impact across the organization
  • You are market oriented with flair for seeing new opportunities within the business area

The Product Management department
As Product Manager, you will be part of the R&D and Product Management department, which by now employs 7 staff members, but with a significant expansion to come. With us, you get the opportunity to shape your workplace from the start, as you must be helping to build a completely new department.

Working hours and place of work
The position is a full-time position of 37 hours with reference to Head of R&D and Product Management Jens Ravn Friis.

The primary place of work is Kilde Allé 4, 8722 Hedensted. However, with the option of homework as needed and / or working days at one of our other locations in Aarhus, Ikast or Varde.
