Key Account Manager for Food and End of Line solutions

Tasks and responsibilities

You will be responsible for market mapping and sales to both new and existing customers primarily within the Food sector in Scandinavia and northern Europe with a focus on End of Line automation. You will act as a sparring partner for the customer, where together you create solutions that ensure traceability, profitability and efficiency.

Your primary tasks will be

  • Outreach sales to new customers within selected customers or industries
  • Sales to existing customers
  • Planning sales activities and strategy in collaboration with team and sales manager
  • Consulting and sparring with customers in close cooperation with the rest of the project team

 

About you

You have a high level of drive and an ability to see technical solutions and improvements, and you are passionate about lifting the customer’s potential through consulting and pay back analysis. Through sparring and dialogue, you find the right solution for the customer and think in terms of solution sales. Your personality plays a crucial role and for achieving success in the job, where you need to be a hunter profile that is also attracted by structure in your daily work and close cooperation with your colleagues in sales and project management. You are self-motivated, take responsibility for planning your own workday and have an outgoing personality where you enjoy being out among the customers. Additionally, we seek candidates with the following personal skills:

  • Results-oriented with a commercial mindset
  • Relationship and trust-building and deliver on agreements
  • Structured and persistent in your way of working
  • Good communication skills – you are a good listener and skilled at perceiving and realising the customer’s needs. 
  • Goal-oriented and ambitious
  • Motivated in leading and participate in project teams.


Professional qualifications

  • Engineer, e.g. mechanical engineer or machinist, process technologist or other relevant background – preferably in combination with a vocational education (Electrician, blacksmith etc..)
  • Relevant experience from a project company, preferably in project sales
  • Mastery of Danish and English in writing and speaking at technical and negotiation level
  • Scandinavian languages are an advantage, but not a requirement.
